The Care Home Team

Each Care Home team includes: A Care Home Manager; Administrator/PA ; Deputy Care Home Manager, Qualified Nurses (in care homes that provide nursing); Care Team Leaders and Qualified Care Staff (many of which have taken vocational courses); Head Chef and Catering Team; Activities Organiser; Housekeeper and a team of Chambermaids, Laundry and Maintenance personnel.

Our staff are there to help a resident settle into their new home, they will get to know them personally and will provide ongoing support to the resident and their family.

We have staff providing 24-hour care, they work in harmony to develop a resident's personal care plan, this records information about the residents likes and dislikes, any special needs, medication requirements and any specific information that will help us to get to know the individual residents life experiences.

Tanglewood Care Homes - Friendly Care Services

Specialist Equipment

All Tanglewood Care Homes are well equipped with hoists, walking aids, specialist baths, mattresses and other essential equipment. The setting, however, is homely, informal, comfortable and safe. Bedrooms are mainly for single occupancy, whilst suites are available for couples and companions. All homes have lounges, communal areas, a patio and maintained gardens that provide ample opportunities for residents to socialise if they choose.

Residents care needs - individually assessed

Prior to admission the Home Manager, or a senior member of the care team, will make an appointment to visit the prospective resident at their home or in hospital to carry out an assessment of their individual care needs. Alternatively, we can arrange for the assessment to take place at the care home, thus offering the opportunity to combine this with a pleasant visit to the home to enjoy our hospitality.

Resident's personal preferences are incorporated into care packages to ensure continuity of care. We have a well trained team of staff in all our homes to ensure that we can provide a consistently high level of service to our residents and that we can meet their clinical, personal and social needs.

Visitors

We know how important it is for residents to stay in touch with family and friends, so guests are always welcome. There are no set visiting times, and it is entirely at our residents discretion whether they meet visitors in the lounge, garden or the privacy of their own room.
